Delta was established to invest in and advise businesses navigating the shift from conventional energy systems toward lower-carbon alternatives.

Richard Lewis
Founder & Managing Director
Richard is a 30-year veteran of global energy markets and leads Delta Energy Capital’s investment and advisory activity. His experience spans energy trading, origination, investment, project development, biomass supply chains, renewable power and carbon markets.
Before founding Delta, Richard held senior trading, origination and investment roles at RWE, Barclays and Enron Europe. He has developed, operated, bought and sold power assets across multiple fuel types and has particular experience in biomass conversion and renewable carbon value chains.
Richard has held board roles across renewable energy and investment businesses and is a qualified accountant with a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Bristol.
